I have spent the last 20 years in the software industry cutting my teeth on a wide variety of projects including off the shelf COTS packages, huge retail databases and large scale government and investment banking integration. I have worked in Agile environments in the last 10 years and have acted as a coach and mentor to many teams including delivering training courses on practices such a as TDD through to Agile fundamentals. I like simple systems and enjoy building systems that are easy for their users to use, which is why I also spend time thinking a lot about UX and am trying to pick up as much as that as possible from my more illustrious UX colleagues.
